Betty E. Davis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty E. Davis in Fort Pierce, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walker and Anne Estelle Walker; her former husband Albert W. Leager; and her husband Rodney Davis. She is survived by: her children, David E. Leager of Marshallton, Linda L. Sammons and Susan L. Walker of Fort Pierce, Florida; her sister Barbara Willings of Wilmington, Delaware; her grandchildren, Bryan Bellafore, Michelle Dougherty, Kimberly Weismiller, Heather Ring, Holly Macias, Tracy Bendler, Fallon Tuthill, Sgt. Gerald Yeitter III and Thor Walker; her great grandchildren, Scott Crawford Jr., Brittany Zent, Rebecca Bellafore, Areona Tuthill, Ryan Ring, Marlin Tuthill, Rianna Ring, Addison Weismiller, Albert Weismiller IV, Juan, Pablo Macias, Nathan Bendler, Camryn Dougherty, Aidan Weismiller, Emilo Macias, Brixton Yeitter, Riley Bendler and Huxley Yeitter; and her great great grandchildren, Harvey Lynn Bryson, Brody Bryson, Gianna Zent, Vincent Zent, Gracen Crawford and Arlen Crawford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service (3015 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34947). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Betty finished her retirement by translating English Bible Scriptures to different languages for the Wycliffe Foundation in Orlando Florida.
