Karaffa of Fort Pierce, Florida, born in Beacon, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Pierce and Lillian Lawson Cism; her husband Joseph Peter Karaffa; her siblings, Franklin P. Cism Jr. and Joan Cism Wheeler; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Mare Gordon Christiano, Caitlin Mary and Kristen Anna Karaffa.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia Cism Scofield; and her children, Kathleen Gordon, Stephen Karaffa (Cathy), Robert Karaffa (Kristie), Susan Richard (William) and Paul Karaffa (Tracy). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 step grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
