He was predeceased by: his parents, Elma Wynn Hogan and David Hogan Sr.; his siblings, Veola Hogan Suggs, Mary Frances Hogan, David Jr., Robert, Charlie "Chuck" and Joseph; his brother-in-law Roosevelt Sr.; and his daughter Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Hogan; his children, Sadonia, Stanley, Kendra, Dawn, Varian, Darian, Kizzi and Tori; his stepchildren, Frank, Maggie, Rudolph and Tiffany; and his siblings, Delores, Henry and Dennis. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
