He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Laverle Kindrick; his sons, Jordan Bythwood and James Bythwood; and his siblings, Willie Dee Bythwood, Jr., Leonard Clayton Battle, Phillip Bythwood, Curtis Riggins, Willie Mae Bythwood, Lorene Battle and Lula B. Bythwood.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Bythwood, Alfred Bythwood, Allen Justin Bythwood, William Bythwood, Alice Bargeman, Laverle Wilson, Sylvia Peterson, Jeldrine Bythwood-King and Tess Queen; and his siblings, Freddie Lee Davis, Frederick Battle, Wilford Battle, Laura Riggins, Ida Crist, Mary Hammer, Rita Battle and JoAnn Battle. He is also survived by 56 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; A Special Niece.
