He is survived by: his wife Cassandra Birks; his children, Michel Nelson of Salerno, Shawn Brown Sr. of Fort Pierce, Paulette Quillette (Collins) and Rashiemah Birks Smith (Peter) of Fort Pierce; his sisters, Rose Noble of Fort Pierce, Lydia Adams of North Carolina and Patricia Shirer of Orlando; his sisters-in-law, Cherylene of Fort Pierce, Florida., Claudecia of Fort Pierce, Florida. and Carletta Thompson of Fort Pierce, Florida.; and his aunt Bessie Hadley (Georgia) of Atlanta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
