With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Chasteen (Fort Myers, Florida), who passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Donnie Chasteen; his grandparents, Miley, Myrtle Johnson, Virgil and Thelma Powell Chasteen; and his uncle Gilbert Chasteen.

He is survived by: his wife Sonja Chasteen; his children, Chelsea Lovelace (Justin) and Aaron Chasteen (Shawna); his mother Betty Carol White (Larry); his grandchildren, Kylee, Aubree Ashcraft, Paislee, Brynlee Lovelace, Elizabeth, Ezekiel and Elaina Chasteen; his siblings, Jason Chasteen (Anita), Allison Chasteen, Kimberly Lovett, Tammy Carpenter (Robbie) and Stacey Edwards (Matt); his stepmother Rebecca Chasteen; his parents-in-law, Marianna Bennebroek (Paul) and Marc Gevaerts (Rita); his sister-in-law Linda Gevaerts (Wilfried); and his pets, Lucy Mae and Harvey. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
