Ward (Joyce Barnes); his children, Latisha Tate (Lavar), Jocelyn Ward and Phillip Ward, Jr. (PJ); his grandchildren, Leah and Logan Tate; his son Lorenzo Newberry; and his siblings, Kimberly Joyner, Bettye Walker, Barbie Kephart (Ken), Dexter Ward, Evelyn Ward, Tyrone Ward (Pearly), Mamie and Michael Ward. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family.
