She is survived by: her siblings, Jacquelyn and Jilane; her husband Charles Hitzing; her pets, Sam and Angel; her children, Brian Hitzing (Amber) of Babcock Ranch, FL, Pamela Miller of Colorado, Dawn Hitzing of Fort Myers, FL and Aaron Hitzing (Valeria) of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Tyler (Roddy), Haleigh (Matt), Cassidy (Chris), Christian, Cole, Braden and Brentley; her great grandchildren, Jack and Luca; her siblings, Clifford Smith (Sandy) and Jackie Tillman (Tim); and her siblings-in-law, Wade Hitzing (Judy) and Cleo Hitzing.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Alva (2790 Joel Blvd, Alva, FL 33920).
