Karen Louise Ruder Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2023, at the age of 76, Karen Louise Ruder of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Tulare, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Louise Ruder to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Owens and Virginia Owens (Ransom); her grandson Connor Cunningham; her sister Betty Kessler; her brother-in-law Larry Kessler; and her niece Melinda Anderson.

She is survived by: her former husband George Machino; her husband Bill Ruder; her daughters, Lauri Cunningham (John) of Edwardsville and Jill Machino-Adams of Fort Myers, Florida.; her grandchildren, Melia Adams, Claire Cunningham, Calvin Cunningham (Tori), Callie Cunningham and Carter Cunningham of Edwardsville, Illinois.; and her nieces, Letty Yuvienco, Karen Johns, Jodi Berry and Candi Strehl.

In remembrance of Karen, and in lieu of flowers, the family will be offering her works of art for an at-will donation to Chosen to Shine.
