He was predeceased by: his parents, John Newton and Genevieve Newton; his siblings, Austin Wesley Newton and Elizabeth Gottschalk; and his son-in-law Mark Comneck.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Deborah (Mark), Joanne (Sal), John (Sarah) and James (Donna). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (2691 Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33909).
