She was predeceased by: her father Howard J. Hand; her husband Wendal E. Taft; her mother Ruth Hand; her brother Kenneth E. Hand; and her daughter Brenda K Hubbert (Taft).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Bishop (Lou) of Athens, MI, Carolyn Heath and Jeanette; her grandchildren, Dorn Taft, Andrew Hubbert, Donna (Todd), Anderson and Denise Otarola (Art) of Colorado Springs, CO.; her great grandchildren, Chase Hubbert, Christian Hubbert, Kailee Anderson, Austin Anderson, Ariana Otarola and Aiden Otarola; and also Bentley Hubbert. She is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews and good friends.
She always loved going to casinos and was celebrated by a special "Jeanette Taft Day" at Firekeeper's Casino after Covid restrictions were lifted.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Elara Caring Hospice, American Cancer Society, Humane Society of South Central Michigan or the First Congregational Church of Union City, MI.
