Henrietta Genevieve Sigmund Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henrietta Genevieve Sigmund of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Baltz and Genevieve Baltz (Thennes); her daughter Catherine Murch; her grandchildren, Mitchell and Mary Claire Murch; and her siblings, Rev. Al Baltz, Ralph Baltz and Judith Randall.
She is survived by: her husband Charles J. Sigmund; her children, Elizabeth Ross (David) of Haymarket, VA, Charles Sigmund (Eileen) of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Sigmund (Deanne) of St. Louis, MO, Jennifer Griffard of St. Louis, MO, Kelly Shea (Michael) of Chicago, IL and Kristen Mater (Cortland) of St. Louis, MO.; her grandchildren, Alexander Ross (Taylor), Sean Ross (Audrey), Erin Ross, Cara Ross, Kate Ross, Aidan Sigmund, Charles Sigmund, Jacob Sigmund, Jodi Sigmund, Leah Sigmund, Ethan Griffard, Noah Griffard, Rory Shea, Declan Shea, Noelle Mater and Natalie Mater; her great grandchildren, Ezra Ross and Remi Ross; and her siblings, Ruth McKillip, Lawrence Baltz, David Baltz (Jean) and Mitchell Baltz (Teresa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Light Catholic Community (19680 Cypress View Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33967).
