We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2024, at the age of 83, Elizabeth A Loughran of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Weymouth, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Elizabeth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Arnold and Helen Arnold (James); and also John Gallop of Cohasset, Massachusetts.. She is survived by: her husband Gene Loughran of Fort Myers, Florida; her daughter Stephanie Slater (Loughran) of Asheville; her granddaughter Brittany "Louisa" Trusso; her great grandchild Micah Lambeth of Arden; her grandson Alek Plocharczyk of Portsmouth, Virginia; and her siblings, David Arnold of Hingham, Massachusetts and Pat Delano of Palm Harbor, Florida..
In remembrance of Elizabeth's life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to WGCU Public Media or Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, rather than flowers.
