He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fluharty and Eleanor Fluharty (Hubbard). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Jason Fluharty (Rebecca), Debbie West (Steve) and Greg Napoli (Amy); his grandchildren, Zach (Shelby), Josh West, Nicolas, Anthony Napoli, Addison, Hayley and Sydney Fluharty; his great grandchildren, Liam and Lainey West; and his brothers, Gary (Mary) and Brent Fluharty. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
