Christie Louise Knudsen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christie Louise Knudsen (Fort Myers, Florida), who passed away on March 23, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester W. Kerth and Christie Kolb Kerth; and her sister Mary Elizabeth Woods. She is survived by: her husband Arthur K. Knudsen, Jr.; her daughter Christie Karol Knudsen of Fort Myers; her grandchildren, Andrea Schuch of Cape Coral and Brian Kerth Schuch (Natsuko); her great grandchildren, Avery Schuch of Matsuyama, Japan., Skylar Schuch of Matsuyama, Japan. and Riley Schuch of Matsuyama, Japan.; her nephew Mike Woods (Val); her great-niece Tami; her great-nephews, Tim, Shane and Tom; her granddaughter Mary Kristie Smith (Todd); her great grandchildren, Chase and Adam; her grandchildren, Lisa Woods and John Woods (Bitsy); her great grandchildren, Matthew Coghlan Woods and Caroline Kerth Woods (Toy Beeninga); her brother-in-law Jack Woods; and also Claire Elizabeth Beeninga.

In 1997 Christie was recognized for her outstanding community service as the RSVP Volunteer of the Year.
