She was predeceased by: her parents, George Monday and Evelyn Monday; and her husband Derol Painter. She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Maute (Bill) of Fort Myers, Nancy Perez (Antonio) of Lehigh Acres and Valerie Schmitke (Andreas) of Hudson, FL; her granddaughter Lauren Olson (David); her great grandchildren, Hailey, Trevor and David James; and her sisters, Sandra Bright (Darus) and Marcia Hendrix (Glen).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McGregor Baptist Church (3750 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33966). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers, that remembrances in Carol's name be made to Whisper Mountain Camp, a ministry very close to both Derol and Carol (http://www.whispermountain.org. and scroll to the bottom to give), or to McGregor Food Pantry (checks made payable to McGregor Baptist Church, in memo section notate 'in memory of Carol Painter for food pantry') and mail to McGregor Baptist Church, 3750 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL, 33966.
