He is survived by: his children, Edward Harkins (Kenna) of Santiago Chile, Theodore Harkins (Bem) of Los Angeles, CA, Lori Whitney (David) of San Francisco, CA and Lisa Harkins of Carmel, IN; his brother-in-law John Cook (Jan) of Fort Worth, TX; and his grandchildren, Natalie Harkins, Jason Whitney (Lizzie), Samantha Fell (John Heiland), Peter Whitney, Kevin Harkins and Mackenzie McEvily (Mark).
