He was predeceased by: his parents, Richmond Harby and Cyrilla Harby of Ft. Myers Beach; his stepmother Martha Harby of Ft. Myers Beach; his parents-in-law, Edgar and Clara Smith of Fort Myers; and his brother-in-law Gene Hart of Statesboro, GA..
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Smith Harby; his siblings, Rick Harby (JoAnne) of El Cajon, CA and Jean Harby Abel (Joe) of Sun City, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Smith (Lorraine) of Punta Gorda, FL, Pete Smith (Mary) of St. James City, FL, Judy Hart of Statesboro, GA and Patsy Martin (Kenneth) of Fort Myers. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
