He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Kaczmarczyk Tiezzi; his parents, Attilio Tiezzi and Primetta Rosi Tiezzi; his friend Ben Zajac; his brother Angelo Tiezzi (Jim); and his son-in-law Normand J. Petit.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Petit (Tiezzi) of East Berlin, Donna Mowel (Charles) of Middletown, Michael Tiezzi (Teri Winkel) of Cheshire and Daniel Tiezzi (Anna) of Higganum; his grandchildren, Kristen Mowel Pelletier (Kevin), Jamie Mowel Letizio (Anthony), Kylee Mowel, Jonathan Mowel (Megan), Zachary Tiezzi, Benjamin Tiezzi, Tarah Tiezzi, Taylor Tiezzi and Nicole Tiezzi; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Emma, Warren Pelletier, Sebastian, Charlie Letizio, Jackson and Bennett Mowel; and his friend Carolyn Dawson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
