He is survived by: his wife Diane Renee Hawes of Fort Meade, FL; his children, Steven Mark Hawes, Jr., Anthony James Hawes, Thomas Alexander Hawes and Tiffany Hawes-Terry (Daniel); his brothers, Alan F. Hawes, Jr. and David Hawes; and his grandchildren, Aries, Oliver, Noah, Austin and Zachary.
