He was predeceased by: his wife Leta Skipper Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Angie Ivey (Sydney) of Parrish and Bobby Matthews (Amber) of Fort Meade; his sister Darla Townsend (David) of Fort Meade; and his grandchildren, Trevor Ivey (Lydia), Bryson Ivey, Hunter Bourn (Morgan), Brooke Boyd (Max) and Colten Bourn.
