Mary Varn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Varn (Fort Meade, Florida), who passed away on July 18, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hugh and Irma Strain Varn; her husband Richard Allen Fort; her siblings, Dr. David H, Bernard "Buddy" Varn, Nancy Bevis and Fidelia Jahna; her son Richard Allen Fort, Jr.; and her great grandchild Addison Grace Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Anne Whiteside (Jack, Jr.), Dr. Charles Robert Fort (Carol), James Edwin Fort (Connie), Betty Lou Wallace (Terry), Barbara Lee Thomas (Steve) and Beverly Lynn Shepard (Bill); and her daughter-in-law Melissa Fort. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
