She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Olive and Montine Barwick Olive; her siblings, Jimmy Olive, Pat McNair and Joyce Hall; and her brother-in-law Oliver Slay.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon E. Hancock; her children, Lee Hancock (Sarah) of Avon Park, FL and Lois Hancock of Asheville, NC; her half-brother H. L. Olive; and her siblings-in-law, Paula S. Olive, Margie Slay, Katherine Shirley (Mack) and Kenneth Hancock (Janet) of Fort Meade, FL..
