It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie L. Cotton Sr. of Fort Meade, Florida, born in Bowling Green, Florida, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Cotton and Bertha Cotton; and his siblings, Elizabeth Dunham and Joe Cotton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cotton of Fort Meade; his children, Leslie Belcher (Vaughn) of Fort Meade, Mindy Miller of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Jon Cotton (Brook) of Daphne, AL and Jimmie L. Cotton, Jr. (Debbie) of Foley, AL; his brother Wendall Cotton (Arica) of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Autumn Tarsney, Jimmie Cotton III, Summer Miller Shaw, Brooke Miller, Paige White, Lukas Belcher, Benjamin Cotton and Della Cotton. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
