She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. Horne, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Wadley Horne; her former husband Asa Henry Lewis; her stepdaughter Catherine B. Lewis; and her siblings, Robert E. Horne, James V. Horne, Jr. and Marjorie Radford.
She is survived by: her husband Dirk Paul Hoffer of Fort Meade, FL; her children, Gary W. Gnann (Libby) of Pittsboro, NC, Richard G. Cason (Sondra) of Fort Meade, FL and Sharon Hamilton (Paul) of Lakeland, FL; her stepdaughters, Sally Lewis, DC of Washington and Hoffer; her sister-in-law Helen Horne of Tampa, FL; and also, Savannah Court, Rosa Badillo, Terri Martinez, Leylanie Colon-Rodriguez, Nancy Perez, Lee Vinson, Courtney Smith, Brooke Olinger, Rebekah Clark and Sara Garza. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many Hoffer grand and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
