She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Merritt and Martha Merritt; her siblings, James, Dallas, Jack, DeWayne, Minnie Lee Merritt and Betty Beverly; and her brother-in-law Winfred Vickrey.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Grant of Fort Meade; her daughter Tammy Small (Tom) of Bartow; her grandchildren, Gordon Green (Krista) of Homeland and Kristi Smith (Justin) of Bartow; her great grandchildren, Anna Lynn, Clay Greene, Jude and Olive Smith; her sister Rachel Vickrey of Red Level, AL; and her brother-in-law Fred Beverly.
