He was predeceased by: his father James D. Fogarty; and also Matthew A. Fogarty. He is survived by: his mother Shirley C. Fogarty (Gilmore); his sisters, Helen M Bicknell (Jack) and Jane Born (Sam); his uncle Thomas Gilmore (Judy); his aunts, Ann Stansbury (Fogarty) and Ruth Fogarty; his brothers, David and Matthew; and also David J. Fogarty. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was proud of his golfing skills and the many charity golf tournaments he participated in.
