He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Carney, Sr. and Nora Carney (Coyne); and his sibling Msgr. He is survived by: his wife Helen Gallivan Carney; his children, Patrick (Niki), Kieran (Meghan), Joan (Scott) and Christine; and his grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Connor, Declan, Kieran, Madalyn, Lochlan and Conan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Falowski Kalis Mcintee Funeral and Cremation Services (300 SW 6th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Anthony Catholic Church (901 NE 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 Florida Dr, Lake Worth, FL 33462).
