She is survived by: her children, Barbara of Quincy, Edward Andrew Schmiedel (Andy) of Fort Lauderdale and James Schmiedel of Charles City; her grandchildren, Nathan Ley, Kelsey Ley of New York, Daniel Ley of Chicago, Makenna of Charles City, Emma of Charles City and Nolan Schmiedel of Charles City; and her husband Jean.
