He was predeceased by: his parents, Wonkil Lee and Hwasoon Lee. He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his daughters, Sophie and Patricia; and his granddaughter Eva Dane. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, granddaughter, sister, brothers, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, friends and colleagues.
During those years as a refugee, Matt encountered the work of the Maryknoll Fathers and witnessed firsthand the positive forces of goodwill, charity and love in the world.
