He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen McKibben Chiles; his daughters, Cyrena Lee Eitler (Tom) of Prince William, Cynthia Marie Eckart (David) of Norman and Jennifer Ann Chiles of Fort Lauderdale; his grandchildren, Andrew Eitler, Alex Eitler, Matthew Eckart and Erin Eckart; his brother Dennis Eugene Chiles (Barbara Jean); and his nieces, Amy Ast and Amanda Hillman.
