She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtle; her brothers, Jack E. Brown (Sally) and Donald P. Brown (Abby); her father Gordon; and her husband Jack C. Ireland.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Ireland Mitchell (Andy) of Fort Lauderdale and Patti Ireland Hickle (Dallas) of Novato, California.; her grandchildren, Dr. Kate Mitchell Campbell (Brent), Kristen Mitchell Glasser (Sean), Morgan Patricia Hickle and Jack Greyden Hickle; and her great grandchildren, Landon Scott Campbell, Autumn Bobbie Glasser, Scarlett, Sydney Glasser and Jaxon Ireland Campbell.
