It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jewel Sutherland (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard L Sutherland; her parents, Wilbert Schmeckel and Mabel Schmeckel; and her brother James. She is survived by: her children, Greg (Laura) and Suzanne (Fred); her grandchildren, Matthew, Jay and Haley; and her brother Thomas Schmeckel. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Marilyn's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Humane Society of Broward County.
