He was predeceased by: his parents, Gracie McNeely and Rupert McNeely; and his brothers, Rupert Jr., Jack and Lyle.

He is survived by: his wife Isabella Taylor McNeely; his daughters, Kathy McNeely-Johnson (Richard Johnson) and Karen McNeely Sand Ft (Mathew Sand); and his grandson David Johnson Seattle.
