With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph James Walsh of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Walsh and Mary Walsh; and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Kathleen Salerno (Ron), Thomas Walsh (Jackie), Joanne Walsh Weeks, Monique Voorn (Luc) and Marc Guimond (Colleen); and his grandchildren, Kristina Belgram (Grant), JJ Barber, Ashley Barber, Courtney O'Malley (Jim), Collin Walsh, Ryan Walsh, Hannah Grenier (John), Emma Weeks, Anthony Salerno (Carolann), Andrew Salerno (Kaylen), Angelo Salerno (Nicole), Eric Guimond and Graeme Guimond.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The Marfan Foundation.
