He was predeceased by: his wife Lois K. Griesemer (Kirkhoff); his parents, Paul Y. Griesemer and Ella M. Griesemer (Eagle); his son Arthur "Paulie" Griesemer; and his siblings, Harold Griesemer, Walter Griesemer, Marion Griesemer, Elsie Madden, Jane Weidensaul and Anna Webb.

He is survived by: his son John "Jack" Griesemer, Jr.; his close friend Mandy Fry of Boyertown, PA; and his daughter Jill Morris (Roland).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
