“So very saddened to learn of the passing of Colonel John Hainor, USAF (Ret). He was the former head of our USAF Detached Training Site (DTS) at Homestead AFB, FL. I first met him in February 1978 and appreciated his mentoring of a number of young AF officers and NCOs. Moreover, I later learned that he and I were fraternity Brothers of Delta Sigma Phi during our respective college years. Sincere sympathies to Marita and family. Rest in peace my brother.”
