She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Beckmann and Betty Beckmann (Mary Elizabeth). She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Poe (David); her grandchildren, Ella, Mason Patthoff, Ruby, Nelson Patthoff and Caleb Poe; her husband Dennis Patthoff; and her sons, Eric (Mayme) and Nick (Jennifer). She is also survived by spouses, her beloved grandchildren, four brothers, several sisters in laws, brother in laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's memory to Park District of Ottawa County, 3979 E Knoll Crest Dr., Port Clinton, Ohio 43452.
