She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Campbell (DeForest) and Matthew J. Campbell; her husband Robert J. Joyce; her son Robert D. Joyce; and her siblings, Eileen Connolly (Campbell), Ann Timpone (Campbell) and Matthew Campbell.

She is survived by: her daughter Judith E. Dempsey (Joyce); her son-in-law Thomas Dempsey; and her son Kevin L. Joyce.

“In loving memory of Joan Joyce, Ms Joan was an incredible person who touched the lives of everyone she met with her beautiful smile, laugh, energy, and love. She cared for her family and friends with a ferrous heart and spirit. I will fondly remember seeing her greet and give hugs to each student as they arrived for school each morning.
