We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2022, at the age of 83, Gilbert C. Gordon (Fort Lauderdale, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Gordon and Urcella Gordon; his siblings, Tiny Gordon, Lillian Reid (Lilly), Icilda Mowatt (Girly), Victoria Brown (Maude) and Phillip; and his son Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Greta H. Gordon of Lauderdale Lakes, FL; his children, Yvonne Gardener of Lauderdale Lakes, FL, Carol Gordon-Johnson (Thomas) of Randolph, MA, Marvette Gordon of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Brigette Best (Michael) of Washington, DC, Courtney Gordon (Victoria) of Valdosta, GA and Gilbert C. Gordon, Jr. of Tampa, FL; and his sisters, Lucille Pilgrim of Meriden, CT and Loretta Samms of North Chesterfield, VA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
