It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Galatiani Vasilas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pilatos and Eirene Pilatos (Petalas); her husband Antonios Vasilas; and her niece Denise Skylas. She is survived by: her nephews, Manolis Mamouzelos and Nikitas Economou; her children, Maria Bournas (Athanasios), Irene, Savvas Vasilas (Kathy), Georgia Tountas and Michael Vasilas (Carmen); her son-in-law Kostas Tountas; her grandchildren, Stavros (Maria), Konstantinos, Nikko (Taylor), Adonis, Antonis (Sonya), Elizabeth, Nikki, Christos, Saveena, Giovanna, Georgia, Kyriako, Vasili, Alexander, Melania and Kostantinos; and her sisters-in-law, Anna and Artemis Pilatos. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
