Eugene F. Vanek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene F. Vanek (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vanek and Dorothy Vanek; his sister Gertrude Meyer; and his wife Viola. He is survived by: his nieces, Lynda Foster of Palm Harbor and Sharon Perkins (Larry) of Palm Harbor; and his nephew Ron Meyer (Judy) of Tallahassee. He is also survived by grand nephews, great grand nephews and a great grandniece.
In lieu of flowers, his many friends and animal lovers are encouraged to make contributions in his memory to a local animal shelter or other charity which assists animals in need.
