It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Essie Manelas (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, John T. Manelas, Jr., Joyce Manelas Silverman (Neil), Charles Manelas (Frances Ann) and Sharon Manelas Cook (Steven); her grandchildren, Sophia Cook Ramirez (Antonio), Serena Cook, Jonathan (Audrey), Jeffrey Silverman, Jake and Fiona Manelas; and her great grandchild Angelina Cook Ramirez.
