He was predeceased by: his sister Ines Gispert; and his mother Irene Janez. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Janez; his daughter Irene Janez Sutter; his son-in-law Albert James Poliak; his nephew Jorge Gispert; his nieces, Carol Durette and Evelyn Hecker; his stepgrandchildren, Brittney Nicole Poliak, Lindsey Helena Poliak and Ashley Lynn Poliak-Hammad; his stepgreat-grandson Paolo Zane Hammad; and his father Longinos Janez.
