It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Steiner of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, born in Tremont, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan C. Steiner and Sophia Pflederer Steiner; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Gudeman; his children, Diane Paton (Alex) of Colorado Springs, CO, Mark Steiner (Jennifer) of Chicago, IL and Dale Steiner (Pamela) of Grayslake, IL; his grandchildren, Sophia Joganich (Quinn), Hannah Baidya (Simon), Olivia Paton, Jessica Steiner, Matthew Steiner, Natalie Wegman (Bryce), Rebecca Steiner and Amanda Steiner; his great grandchildren, Peter and Lena Joganich; and his siblings, Barbara Wagenbach, Joe, Harold, Velma Rinkenberger and Carol Gress. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
