Beverly Petersen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 95, Beverly Petersen of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Beverly shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Beverly farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Knud Petersen; and her brother Howard Garvin (Maureen). She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Rosenberg and Marcy Rosenberg (Allen); her grandson David Rosenberg; her stepsons, Daniel and Erik Petersen (Lisha); and her brother Dr. Raymond Katz (Janice). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, son in law, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Temple Bat Yam of East Fort Lauderdale (5151 NE 14th Terrace, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Good Karma Pet Rescue of South Florida or to a charity of your choice.
