She was predeceased by: her brothers, E. Stanley Throne and Oral J. D. Throne (Hazel); her parents, H. Ernest Throne and Alice Throne; her nieces, Kathryn Throne Brunt (Richard) and Diana Throne Hilliard Marks (John); and also Joseph J. Packo.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph J. Packo; her children, Jo Anne Packo and Mark Throne Packo; her nephew Jerry D. Throne (Judith); and her great-niece Mamie Lee Smith Clark.
