She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Quinby Sturges and Rose Luby Sturges; her husband Robert Lee Yinger; her children, Susan Yinger of Pompano Beach, Stephen Yinger of Palm Springs, Robert Yinger, Jr. and Kill Devil Hills; her granddaughter Liv Yinger; her brother Thomas Sturges of Columbus; and her sister-in-law Linda Sturges of Bay Village. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
