He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Hastings and Julius C. Hastings; his daughter Chelsea Hastings Andrews; his wife Patricia Williams; his children, Alcee L. Hastings, II and Leigh Shaw; his granddaughter Zola Andrews Johnson; his stepdaughter Maisha D. Williams; and his stepgrandchildren, Kori Imani Blevins and Trent J. Williams. He was also cherished by many family members and friends.
