He was predeceased by: his parents, Arte D. Thomas and Annie May Thomas; his siblings, James, Gerald, Merledean, Alice Marie, JudyAnn and Grace; his children, Jimmie D. Thomas Jr., Terry L. Thomas and Sharon Woods; and his granddaughter Michelle.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Thomas; his sons, Paul David, Virgil (Dorothy) and John (Mary); and his siblings, Carolyn, Edith and Charlie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
